Feeling Teal not Blue

So a couple days ago I decided to finally take the plunge and I dyed my hair not a pastel color because those don't seem to last long but a deep teal color and I really love it! It's been fun wearing blues, neutrals, and just seeing what works with my new look so here is one of the outfits I've loved so far for this edgier look:

Sweater Weather

I am currently too busy to post outfit pics and also am hoping to get a tripod to post better quality pictures and so for today I will give you an inspiration post based on the changing weather. Featured are Flashesofstyle, Delightfully Tacky, and random other sources. I'll try not to exclude those with warm weather climates by showing layering options but I really do love this comfy type of weather :)

Fun in the not so sun-ny place I call home

As you will see I try to always maintain a sense of in my fall and Winfrey wardrobe. Though outside it may seem dreary, I think it's important to not let that stop you from doing the crazy things you love. For me that means wearing too tall of shoes and always accessorizing. Or it could mean knocking out your bucketlist! Whatever it may be just go for it because who's to say your path is wrong! And for another look at my leather look featured below be sure to check out my mention and lovely friend on epicfashionchronicles.blogspot.com . And because they are my future alma mater Go beavers!

Long ago frolicking photos :)

Awhile ago now or so it may seem I took pictures with one of my best friends in her yard with pastels and fun fall colors. Pictured are items such as the leopard jeans from Forever 21 which continue to be a great statement along with floral and coated jeans for fall. Also, fall colors are always a fun do in classic school styles such as the striped cardigan and pleated skirt featured. We wanted to capture the utter whimsy and fun often lost in fashion and though the flowers, the trees, and her wonderful resin jewelry would be a great way to showcase this. As of yet, my friend does not have an etsy shop to sell her necklaces but as soon as she does I will let those interested know :)

Class room cutie

I've been in school four weeks and somehow it still doesn't seem real. Being a senior and having the confidence to go as crazy as I want to with fashion has been really fun. One day a fairy the next a flower and another a greaser. Taking risks has always been my goal but now with college an my future within my grasp having fun in highschool seems that much more vital. I can only hope I will be able to find a happy and healthy balance between the work I must do and the fun, as a senior I will embrace :) and so here's just a peek into how that looks as far as clothes!
